Q: What method of payment do you accept?

A: We are currently accepting only credit cards for payment on the web site including Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. In-store we also accept debit, cash and personal checks with proper identification.


Q: Why can't I buy guns on the web site?

A: Firearms can not be shipped directly to a customer. They must be sent to a Federal Firearms Licensed dealer (FFL). Before a purchase can be made, the customer must make arrangements for an FFL to receive the gun. This preperation is best handled through direct contact with our store.



Q: How can I tell if an item is in stock or not?

A: If an item is in stock you'll be able to add it to your shopping cart. You may see a yellow box with the words "In Stock - Add To Cart" but when you click a size you see all selections show out of stock. However if you click on the size you want you will see a box that says "Out of Stock - enter email address to be notified when back in stock", you can enter your e-mail address, click "SUBSCRIBE" and you will receive notification when the item is back in stock.

For Firearms, if it is in stock you will see "Call to Order", if it is not in stock, you will see the Subscribe box explained above. 


Q: Why are reloading components like powder and primers so expensive to ship?

A: Smokeless powder, black powder, and primers are all classified as hazardous materials. All common carriers charge a "haz mat" fee in addition to the standard shipping fee whenever we ship hazardous materials. See the Shipping Policy page for more information on shipping hazardous materials.



Q: Are there any limits on what can be ordered?

A: Maybe. Limits change over time based on availability of product. Reloading powder and ammunition are 2 categories that we may impose limits on the quantity that can be purchased in one order.  Additionally, there are limits on what can be shipped. Hazardous Materials like reloading powder and primers have maximum weights that can ship in one package. See the Shipping Policy page for more information.



Q: Can reloading powder and primers be shipped in the same order?

A: Yes, as long as the maximum weight for the category is not exceeded. See the Shipping Policy page for more information on shipping hazardous materials.



Q: Do you offer any next day or overnight shipping?

A: We currently only offer shipping by USP Ground and USPS Priority Mail (for lead shot only).



Q: Can I order through the web site and pick up the item at the store?

A: We are not offering that option at this time. All orders placed on the web site will be shipped to the customer. If you want to order and pick up at the store you will need to call the store to place the order.



Q: Why do some items not allow me to order but rather ask me if I want to subscribe?

A: Those items that ask you to subscribe are currently out of stock. By entering your email address in the Subscribe box you will be notified when they are back in stock and available to order.
